Strategic Water Storage and Recovery System Abu Dhabi

This project consisted of an underground aquifer storage system, pipelines, SCADA system and wells and pumping station. The project was built to increase emergency water supply for Abu Dhabi from 3 days to 90 days. Managing a small team of quantity surveyors working for the JV contractor (POSCO and ACC) taking responsibility for all commercial and contractual matters post contract on the project. In particular the analysis of records to substantiate an extension of time claim as well as preparing negotiating and agreeing variations to the contract. The project was procured under an EPC contract and the contract value was £260m.
