Sunnymede School – Residential Conversion

Project Overview: Conversion of Grade II former manor house to residential apartments and new build town houses.
Client: Confidential
Location: Southport
Start Date: 2021
Contract Value: £6.5m

This project had been vacant since 2010 when it had been closed as a school. Previously the building was a manor house built in around 1850-60. The services provided included an extensive review of project costs incurred. The scheme consisted of the conversion of a Grade II  listed manor house into six  residential apartments and the new build of twenty two story town houses built in two separate blocks in the surrounding gardens.

By producing a cost plan based on the as built drawings it was possible to see if the costs incurred offered value for money. Success – This enabled discussion to be held with the contractor to agree all outstanding costs to final account.
